I really enjoyed doing this one! The simple contrast between the two elements works well and is quite nice visually. This is one of the reasons that I love the Japanese tattoo arts. The balence between the main subject matter and the power of the enviroment that it is interacting with. Simple, yet still dynamic. This is now a complete sleve with lotus flowers and two more koi. I will be posting the full sleve soon. The tatoo that you see took twenty hours.
