For my client, every part of this piece has personal meaning to her. Frist I'll start with the initials EB, This is what her dad called at a young age and it stuck as a nickname ever since. The font style is called Snell which is her last name. By the way I think that is pretty awesome on the font last name dual meaning, pretty smart! The Pearl is her birthstone, hence the necklace. She also wanted to add a butterfly into the piece. This is her astrological animal, it means laid back attitude, and she was definitely that. And finally, the magnolia flowers which symbolizes Houston since its nicknamed the magnolia city because of the magnolia trees on the Buffalo Bayou. Houston is where she was born and raised, and sadly has moved back to. Though, to bigger and better things I hope. Take Care EB, I enjoyed doing your tattoo!
